21st Oct 2018

A new and exciting opportunity for Year 13 students in Strangford College has arisen working with Saphara, a non-profit, non-denominational Christian organisation. This opportunity involves a once in a lifetime 11 day trip to India in Halloween 2019 and is open for all Year 13 to apply. Additional information is below; alongside the application form. Interested students are advised to submit a word processed application form (complete with two teacher references) to Mr McCartney; lead teacher of the partnership by Friday 26th October 2019.

All Year 13 are eligible to apply for this enriching and rewarding experience. This is an excellent way of experiencing a different culture as well as engaging in worthwhile and life-changing work with local communities in India – alongside being the first Strangfordians to engage with Saphara and their work in India. All parents of Year 13 who are interested in the Saphara programme are invited to an information evening on Tuesday 23rd October 2018 commencing at 4p.m. in the College Library. If you have questions, please contact Mr McCartney.
