Wednesday 2nd March saw over 140 pupils from Year 8 right through to Year 14 represent their houses on the Volleyball court. All pupils who took part should be commended for their efforts as Volleyball was a new or very unfamiliar sport to the majority of pupils involved but they took to it in a fantastic fashion. There was a fantastic atmosphere in the hall throughout the day with players and supporters alike throwing themselves into the competition and working very well together as teams. One of the highlights of the day was the staff vs student games, two teams put up a valiant fight but failed to defeat the imperious staff team including Mr Coffey, Mr Morgan, Mr O’Connor and Mr McMullan, helped out by sixth form students. Congratulations to all those who took part but special mention goes to the individual year group winners and the overall champions listed below:
