Congratulations to Iona in Year 11 in Strangford College, who recently achieved a Silver Certificate in the UK Mathematics Trust Intermediate Maths Challenge in February. This means she came in the top 20% of competitors across the UK in a competition open to pupils up to Y12.
The competition is 25 multiple choice questions answered in an hour, problems that are less predictable than normal school work and need the right approach to solve.
