Year 10 students attend MTech Academy launch at Belfast City Hall
A group of Year 10 students had the opportunity to attend the launch of MTech Academy at Belfast City Hall.
The programme which Strangford College is taking part in this year, along with ten other schools, aims to create an experiential learning community “intelligently connecting” pupils and educators with industry employers. The goal is to work with 100 young people from 10 schools and take them to Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in 2019.
This is a fantastic opportunity for some of our young people who really enjoyed the challenges at the launch event including building your own lego mobile phone and debating “What makes a Smart City?”
