James, Cole and Sophie (8T) are some of our wonderful Year 8 students who were in the Library this week with our Librarian, Mrs Boyd promoting our initiative to ‘Choose Poetry’. Having celebrated National Poetry Day (7th October) in the College, our students also wanted to show off Strangford’s newest additions of books written in Poetry and Verse, recently delivered to the Library. With our Form Class Poetry Competition underway (Year 8-14), these may be a helping hand!
