Year 11 students from Strangford College and St Columba’s School, Portaferry enjoyed a joint trip to the Royal Ulster Academy, Ulster Museum and Botanic Gardens today. This trip is part of an exciting Shared Education Printmaking Project subsidised by Shared Education Funding. Students admired the variety of art on display and filled a small sketchbook full of drawings and ideas to inspire their own work. Later this month, the students will meet again for a dry point etching and mono-printing workshop with artist and printmaker Robert Peters.
