In Halloween 2019, two students from Strangford College and Mr McCartney will be travelling to India to teach children and young people; as a cross-community humanitarian project coordinated by Saphara. To initiate our school fundraising we will be doing a: Candy Cane for Christmas! STUDENTS and STAFF can purchase a candy cane for 50p (minimum donation; any more donations are welcomed) and send it to a recipient of their choice. Santa’s helpers will then deliver out the candy canes to students in class and inject some festive cheer! Students can purchase their candy cane and write their messages at breaktime (outside room 2a) on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week. Our team of elves will make sure your candy cane friend receives it in joyous, yuletide fashion! What do I get for 50p?
